On the 22nd of May, 2023, Fantasy Island, Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and Skegness Coastal Access for All joined forces for the second Skegness Beach clean-up event. With 60 enthusiastic participants, the event was a resounding success as they diligently cleared the shoreline of litter and debris. Vicki Bush from Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust said, “It was a pleasure to join Skegness Pier and Coastal Access for All to clean Skegness Beach. The staff team from Skegness Pier worked hard to make the beach cleaner and safer for wildlife and visitors.” read more

Fantasy Island Grants Christmas Wishes as Schoolboy’s Dream Ride Delivered to His Doorstep! Ho, ho, ho! Christmas came early for Mikko Astle, the superfan of CBeebies’ Jolly Roger Sergeant Stripes’ ride! After noticing the ride was off duty during his last visit, Mikko’s father reached out to the award-winning theme park to see if they could make his dream come true. And guess what? Fantasy Island did more than that! They gifted Mikko the cherished ride, delivering it to his garden in Derby, where he lives with his family. Mikko (15), who has autism and a rare disorder called MPS1, now has his beloved ride at his grandma’s house, which he excitedly visits every day. read more

When You Wish Upon a Star and Fantasy Island have teamed up to bring joy and cherished memories to children facing life-threatening illnesses. A special day at the amusement park provided much-needed respite and created lasting smiles for these brave families. Paul Hawkins from When You Wish Upon a Star expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you to everyone at Fantasy Island for a fantastic day out for our wish families. It had a huge impact, and one parent said, ‘We actually felt like a family again. Aydn enjoyed every second of it that he didn’t want to leave at all.’” read more

The family attractions company, Mellors Group, teamed up with children’s charities The Toy Library and Gedling Play Forum to create an unforgettable day out for local children. On August 10th and 11th, 200 kids from Nottingham enjoyed a free trip to Fantasy Island in Ingoldmells. MP Alex Norris, MP Vernon Coaker, and Mayor and Mayoress Cllrs Peter and Sandra Barnes warmly welcomed the youngsters and their parents before embarking on their exciting adventure at the famous theme park. read more

Fantasy Island, the award-winning theme park owned by Mellors Group is partnering with Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre to create an unforgettable experience for underprivileged children. From now until October 2022, the generous initiative will gift free passes to hundreds of children and their carers every Thursday. Located near Skegness Seafront, Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre, offers a holiday home to disadvantaged children across Derbyshire. The charity provides accommodation and activities to give these children a break they might never otherwise have while delivering much-needed respite for parents and carers. read more

In response to the crisis in Ukraine, Mellors Group, a leading UK attraction and entertainment company is lending a helping hand with generous donations. They have contributed £1,000 worth of essential baby products, toiletries, and more to assist struggling families. Teaming up with the Skegness community, Mellors Group aims to fill a lorry with donations that will make their way through local towns before reaching Poland to deliver the much-needed items to Ukraine. Dave Charles, the Ukraine collection organiser expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response from the people of Skegness.
