5 of the best rides at Fantasy Island

Fantasy Island is a must-visit destination for any family trip to Skegness. With more than 40 different places to eat and drink, as well as Europe’s largest seven-day market, Fantasy Island is certainly one of the best funfairs in England. What really sets the park apart though is the rides. There are more than 40 different rides and attractions, suitable for a whole variety of ages, from the little ones up to adults. In this blog, we’ll discover 5 of the best rides for a thrill-seeker of any age!

1. The Rhombus Rocket

Adventurer category (min-height 1.0m, under 1.2m, must be accompanied by an adult)

The Rhombus Rocket is a roller coaster which soars high over the rest of the park at a good pace. Twist and turn with Captain Rhombus as you dart about on the coaster, which was given a brand new paint job in 2018. This is one of the most popular rides at Fantasy Island and certainly not one to be missed.

2. The Millennium

Discovery category (min-height 1.2m, under 1.4m, must be accompanied by an adult)

Hold onto your hat because the loop-the-loop on the Millennium will blow it right off if you don’t! This is one of the fastest rides at the park, travelling at more than 55 miles per hour. Featuring two loops, a sidewinder and fantastic views of Skegness, you’ll want to make sure you have a go on this ride!

3. Log Flume

Adventurer category (min-height 1.0m, under 1.4m, must be accompanied by an adult)

If you like a water ride, then the Log Flume is the one for you. Climb slowly up to the top of the ride before plunging downwards into the spray, the perfect way to cool off on a hot day.

4. The Twister

Discovery category (min-height 1.2m)

A classic theme park ride, the Twister is one not to miss. Spin round and round, faster and faster on this adrenaline-pumping ride that’s perfect for anyone in search of some dizzy fun!

5. Seaquarium

Little Explorer category (no babies in arms, under 1.2m, must be accompanied by an adult)

Not forgetting the little ones, the Seaquarium ride is the most popular in the Little Explorer category. Set sail with Captain Rhombus as you enjoy a voyage of discovery, searching for magical sea creatures on this musical adventure.

There is something for everyone at Fantasy Island, which is what makes it one of the best ways to spend a day out in Lincolnshire. The only question is, which ride do you choose first?
