Fantasy Island: More than just rides

For many people, theme parks are about one thing and one thing only: the rides. While thrill-seekers will find plenty to do at Fantasy Island, with everything from roller-coasters to log flumes to get their adrenaline pumping, that’s not all the park has to offer. Fantasy island is one of the best days out in Lincolnshire thanks to its wide range of activities. Here are five great ways to give yourself a breather between rides.

1. Adventure golf

A holiday classic, adventure golf is the perfect way to enjoy a little healthy competition with friends and family. Come on down to Lava Creek and get stuck into our 18-hole dinosaur-themed golf course. Challenging and unpredictable, Lava Lake has enough surprises to keep you on your toes right up until the final hole. Every Fantasy Island wristband gives you unlimited access to the course, or you can purchase individual games for £5 per person.

2. Ten-pin bowling

Another family favourite, our tenpin bowling alley will bring back fond memories for many players. Grab a lane, lace up your shoes and go for that strike. Our state of the art bowling alley is the first in the UK to offer projection mapping technology, tracking the ball in real-time for an unforgettable bowling experience. This is available on our VIP lanes which cost £6 per game, or you can book a standard lane for £5.

3. Go-karts

Take on your friends and family in a white-knuckle race to the podium. Our exciting track and state of the art go-karts are sure to please speed junkies of all ages. Entry is £7 for a 6-minute session.

4. Family fun centre

For entertainment of all shapes and sizes, head over to our Family Fun Centre. Come rain or shine, this indoor activity centre is packed full of enough games and attractions to keep you entertained for hours. Take a trip down memory lane with some classic arcade games, or keep the kids happy with the latest dance mats and driving simulators. As the biggest family entertainment centre on the East Coast, the only hard part will be fitting everything in!

5. Food and drink

Whether you need to recharge between rides or unwind after a long day of excitement, Fantasy Island has a great selection of over 40 cafes and restaurants. From ice cream parlours to fine Italian eateries, there’s plenty here to keep hunger at bay.
