Stay and play in magical Skegness

20th August 2018

One of the most entertaining days out in Lincolnshire is a visit to the fun-packed Fantasy Island Resort, just outside Skegness. However, with lots to see and do, it’s worth considering staying in a comfortable caravan on site, to enjoy all of the activities for even longer. Take away the stress of trying to see all the attractions in one day, and look forward to the live entertainment at night.

Once you have settled into your well-equipped caravan, it’s time to explore one of the biggest funfairs in England. Thrill-seekers will enjoy The Volcano, The Beast and The Odyssey, exciting rides with a guaranteed adrenaline rush, and certainly not for the faint-hearted. Why not try the Millennium Coaster for a high-speed trip around the entire park?

Families with children will be delighted to know that the caravans can accommodate between six and eight people, with plenty of storage space. Once you have unpacked, the youngsters will be keen to explore the park’s gentler rides and activities. The Log Flume is always a popular choice, particularly on a hot day when you hit that cold, refreshing water! For a great view of the resort, take the Rhombus Rocket, a scenic train ride suitable for all the family.

Toddlers are not forgotten, with many activities available to keep them amused at Fantasy Island. The Seaquarium is a great place to start, a fun musical voyage with lots of cute fish that the little ones will adore. Confident children will enjoy taking to the skies with The Jets, a leisurely ride where they can control their own plane with no adults allowed!

After a fun-packed day, staying in a caravan means the adventure is just beginning. No need to worry about that long journey home; just relax and get ready for some great evening entertainment. With a choice of two bars that feature special guests and national entertainers, you will not be short of something to watch and a great way to unwind. And, of course, don’t forget to indulge in some tasty fresh food – nobody wants to cook when they’re on holiday!
