The best things to do at Fantasy Island with young children

There’s no better bonding experience than a fun day out with all the family. But finding activities suitable for small children can be quite a challenge. At Fantasy Island, there’s nothing to worry about as we pride ourselves on being a fantastic family location where your little ones will be kept entertained all day. Here are three reasons why Fantasy Island is one of the best things to do in Skegness with young children.

1. The rides

At Fantasy Island, there are plenty of gentle yet fun rides for small children, also known as Little Explorers, including child-only rides for those under 0.9 metres in height. But older siblings and adults don’t have to miss out on the fun as there are plenty of rides for all age groups, including the soaring Rhombus Rocket and exhilarating Log Flume. The best part? Little Explorer wristbands are completely free, making Fantasy Island an affordable way to spend a day out with young children in Skegness.

2. Food and drink

Fantasy Island is home to over 40 eateries, so no matter how picky your little ones are, you’ll find the perfect lunch spot within the park. Whether you’re treating the kids to the seaside classic of fish and chips or fancy something spicier like Jamaican jerk chicken, you’re spoilt for choice at Fantasy Island. For a sweet snack, there’s Gino’s award-winning ice cream and Shakey’s milkshake bar which are firm favourites with children. When it’s time for a rest, grab a refreshing drink at Explorer’s Bar & Coffee Shop or the Arcade Bar & Cafe, where the kids can play classic arcade games while you relax.

3. Tiny Tots Village Indoor Playzone

A highlight for young children at Fantasy Island is Tiny Tots Village. Our large play centre means children aged up to 10 years old can roam to their heart’s content in a safe and fun atmosphere. The village-themed adventure land includes little houses to explore inside, pretend roads, a ball pool, slides and much more. Tiny Tots Village is also home to Mrs M’s Cafe & Diner, making it a convenient spot for parents and carers to grab a bite to eat. As the playzone is indoors, it’s a brilliant rainy day activity to keep young children busy; you can visit Fantasy Island come rain or shine.

If you’re looking for the best family-friendly funfair in England, Fantasy Island is the perfect day trip!
