Spooktacular Halloween activities for young children at Fantasy Island

If you’re looking for things to do in Skegness with a young family during the October half-term, don’t miss one of the UK’s best theme parks – Fantasy Island. For the spooky season this year, Fantasy Island is bringing back the hugely popular ‘Fear Island’ event. From the 9th to the 31st of October, the theme park will be running its Halloween events alongside the usual variety of rollercoasters and amusements for guests to enjoy.

Fun for the whole family, Fear Island has attractions to suit every age. So, if you’re looking for Halloween activities for younger children, look no further than Fantasy Island theme park. There are plenty of spooktacular things little ones will love, so everyone can enter into the spirit of the season this year.

Three of the headline Halloween attractions specifically designed with children in mind are:

The Haunting 2

For some family-friendly fear-invoking fun, The Haunting 2 is at top of our list. Created specifically for younger family members to enjoy, this ghost hunt through the haunted Gallowgate Castle has just a hint of fright and a whole lot of excitement. Follow the zany Doctor Highgate and investigate the supernatural goings-on together.

The Pirates of Fear Island

Specifically designed with younger children in mind, The Pirates of Fear Island is a free, interactive stage show that is just scary enough to enter into the spirit of the spooky season, without going overboard. Visitors will step onboard The Flying Dutchman and join Captain Jackie and her motley crew of daring adventurers as they try to find the lost treasure of Fear Island. It’s a voyage you’ll never forget!

Circus of Screams

Roll up, roll up and enjoy a day out at the circus… if you dare! This circus has a twist, as it’s full of the weird, wacky and downright terrifying. Witness the stuff of your nightmares come to life before your very eyes. It’s fun for the whole family… if you’re willing to take the risk. Showtimes are 12.15 pm, 2 pm, 3.30 pm and 5 pm every day.

If you’re looking for day trips in the UK for older children and adults, there are other hair-raising activities too at Skegness’ number one theme park. From the haunted maze, ‘Hellhole’, where visitors must escape the gas mask-clad zombies, to exploring the mystery mansion of the murderous Delphine La Laurie in ‘Killa Villa’, Fantasy Island’s Fear Island has thrills for everyone, big or small.
